University of Bonn Jazz Choir
The Jazz Choir, part of the University's Collegium Musicum, has been directed by Fraser Gartshore since 2004. The choir has become an important part of student life for its 40+ members, students of all faculties.
Regular concerts and performances throughout the semesters have turned the Jazz Choir into one of Bonn's most popular music groups, thanks to the dedicated work of conductor and mentor Fraser Gartshore, who also accompanies the choir on piano and presents the concerts with his own, particular brand of dry humour. Audiences of 500-700 regularly fill the concert halls - people of all ages turning out to hear the choir sing its mixed repertoire.

The Bonn English Singers
Originally "The Embassy Singers", the choir continued working in Bonn after the British embassy moved to Berlin. The choir was directed for the first 2 years by English composer and conductor Stephen Harrap and was taken over in January 2001 by Fraser Gartshore.
The choir specialises in English language choral music, both sacred and secular. The choir performs regularly in and around Bonn and is most well known for its traditional Christmas carol services and concerts.
